Community Event

Members of 14 different groups attended our first Community Evening and were each presented with a donation from our Christmas Float Fund. It was wonderful to hear about all the great things being done for and on behalf of the people of Widnes.

About us

The Rotary Club of Widnes first began in 1937 and we celebrated our 80th Anniversary 'Charter' in November last year.

We are a small group of like-minded people who meet every other week for a meal and a chat, although a meal is not a requirement!  We organise various social events throughout the year too.

We are always looking to attract new members, so if you are interested in joining, with no obligation, or if you just want to come along to a meeting or two to see what we do, you will be made most welcome.  Just send a message via our 'Contact Us' page.

Check out our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages too - just search for Widnes Rotary Club or click on the link via the Menu.
