Foundation Committee is involved with Rotary's own Charity and is largely a fund raising body for which it organises events throughout the year such as the annual Quiz Night and summer BBQ.details

We are the longest established and largest of the five Rotary Clubs on the beautiful Isle of Man and play an active and important part in the strong community life of Douglas and the wider island. Global Rotary Thanks For Life Lunch Meeting
Today's lunch will celebrate the achievements of Rotary's global Thanks For Life campaign to eradicate Polio.

Winter Hill 60th Anniversary
An informal ceremony will be held at Cooil y Ree Park, St. John's to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Winter Hill plane crash. A memorial event will also be held in Horwich which will be attended by a party of 25 from the Island.

Primary Schools' Public Speaking Competition
This year's competition will be held at Ballacottier Primary School - the 2017 winners.

The winners of the 2018 Primary Schools' Public Speaking competition will join us at lunch and deliver their winning performance again.

Secondary Schools' Public Speaking Competition
The competition will be held at Ballakermeen High School for the second successive year as they were winners in 2016 and again in 2017. Can they be beaten this year?

The winners of the 2018 Secondary Schools' Public Speaking competition will join us for lunch today and reprise their winning performance.
