Ambassadors of Trinity House give an informative talk.

Young Brethren Ambassadors of Trinity House, Captains Adrian McCourt and Paul Shields, gave the club a very informative talk and film on the work of Trinity House.

The safety of our coastal shipping and shores around the UK are due entirely to the work of Trinity House, with their maintenance of offshore beacons, their lighthouses and their specialised vessels that service the main shipping routes.

Their work is paid for by the ships that sail our waters.

What is less known is that some of their redundant lighthouses and shore buildings have been converted for holiday stays with a difference!

A working Trinity House vessel has comfortable accommodation for ordinary people to experience their work first-hand.

Our members received a Trinity House leaflet explaining their work in detail.
