Rayleigh Town Museum donation

Mike Davies Chairman of the Rayleigh Town Museum recently announced the Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill has donated £500 towards the set up costs of the Town Museum as part of their support to groups within the local Community.

On May 20th at The Rayleigh Town Museum, our clubs officer Mike Cocks met with Mike Davies, Chairman of the Museum to present a cheque from the Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill for £500 towards the running costs of the Town Museum. Ths was as part of the club's support to groups within the local Community. 

Mike Davies commented "This is yet further evidence of the support to the Museum from all parts of the local community and is very much appreciated."

Mike Cocks, Community and Service Chairman of our Club added "It is fitting that we support such an historic building in our area that is providing the local community with wonderful pictorial evidence of our town of Rayleigh and the surrounding area."
