Rotary Guernesiais Service Projects

Rotary Guernesiais is a service club that is committed to making a difference in the world. One of the ways they do this is through service projects. Over the years, they have completed a variety of projects that have helped to improve the lives of people in Guernsey and around the world.

Some of their most recent service projects include:

• Supporting the Guernsey Food Bank: Rotary Guernesiais donates food and other essential items to the Guernsey Food Bank on a regular basis. This helps to ensure that no one in Guernsey goes hungry.
• Hosting a senior citizens tea party: Every year, Rotary Guernesiais hosts a tea party for 100 senior citizens. This event is a great way to show our appreciation for the older members of our community. The tea party includes delicious food, entertainment, and a chance for the seniors to socialize with each other.
• Cleaning up the beaches: Rotary Guernesiais organizes beach cleanups on a regular basis. These cleanups help to remove trash and debris from the beaches, which helps to protect the environment.
• Partnering with the Rotary Club of Guernsey to hold a Guernsey RYLA: Rotary Guernesiais is proud to partner with the Rotary Club of Guernsey to hold a Guernsey RYLA. RYLA is a leadership development program for young adults. The program provides participants with the opportunity to learn about leadership, teamwork, and community service.
• Rotary Guernesiais Christmas Shoebox Appeal: Every year, Rotary Guernesiais collects shoeboxes filled with gifts for children in need in Eastern Europe. This is a fun and easy way to help children who are less fortunate. The shoeboxes are filled with a variety of items, such as toys, school supplies, and hygiene products.
