Nailsworth Rotary Club raised over £3,100 for GWA Ambulance, MIND and ShelterBox at its Charity Golf Day at Minchinhampton Golf Club on Friday 21st April. We would like to thank all those who played, helped and provided the large number of raffle prizes.

Nailsworth Rotary Club arranges many fundraising events each year as well as responding to emergency situations such as the Nepal earthquakes with local collections.

Funds raised in recent years have helped a wide range of organisations.

Local and National Charities

The Great Western Air Ambulance, The Stroke Association, Nailsworth Youth Club, Stroud Food Bank, Local Defibrillator Project, Nailsworth Subscription Rooms, Meningitis Trust, Stroud Choral Society, Save the Children, Gloucestershire Carers, Hope for Tomorrow, St John's Ambulance, Cavell Nurses Trus, Stroud Valleys Project, Stroud Court Community Trust, The Arkell Centre an Julilee Sailing Trust.

International Charities

Shelterbox, Phillipines Community Fund, Nailsworth's Tanzanian Vumilia Village Link, End Polio Now, Shoebox Scheme, Chernobyl Childrens Lifeline and Friends of Buburi.

Christmas Hampers at Egypt Mill

Our thanks to the wonderful management, staff and Christmas party-goers at the Egypt Mill, the home of Nailsworth Rotary Club, over the Christmas period. It is always great fun to raffle our luxury Christmas hampers at party nights over the holiday period. The atmosphere is wonderful and Father Christmas tells us that he always has a great time too! The hampers are a great fundraiser, boosting funds which we enjoy giving away to our local, national and international charities. Once again, Christmas 2016 was extremely successful, raising over £3,000.

Five Valleys Firework Display
