Ripon Rotary Club Weekly News

Neville Newton described aspects of his career in the police force from trainee to Chief Superintendent at the club meeting yesterday. Accounts of his work with the West Yorkshire force and the high policing standards at the time featured strongly in his presentation.


Russian music is featured in a concert at Sharow church on May 11th at 7.30 and the Blind Club need drivers to take members home from the main bus park at 3.50 on 22nd May.

Other items mentioned yesterday were; the need for help with Red Cross collections on 10th,11th and 12th May at Sainsburys and on 6th and 12th May at Morrisons.

David Wells is seeking sponsors for a bike ride in aid of the Acorn committee on May 12th.

A club group photo is to be taken on May 15th.
