On Sunday June 23rd, Newbury had its first ever Boules Piste in the Market Place.

A brand new event for the Newbury calendar was held on Sunday 23rd June 2013 in the Market Place, Newbury.  It was organised by Newbury Rotary Club and supported by Newbury Rotaract who provided a cake stall to raise funds for their chosen charity.

Members of the Petangue Wallingford Club were on hand to demonstrate technique and make sure everyone from company teams to family groups had a really great time.                                                                            

This was a kick-off event of the 2nd Annual NewburyFest.

All proceeds raised on the day were for the benefit of End Polio Now and other Rotary supported charities.
