Nigel is a founder member of this local charity concerned with supporting the people of south east Belarus, the area blighted by the Chernobyl disaster 26 years ago.
Nigels daughter Hattie, who received a bursary earlier this year was due to speak to the Club but is now unable to do so. Therefore her father is filling the appointment.
Nigel has been visiting the area since 2002 on a regular basis, making 2 visits so far this year, on one of which he was accompanied by Hattie. He will be making a further visit in October to continue working on the current project providing a facility for children with a wide range of disabilities.
the WOVA Charity has been supported by Witney Rotary Club over several years, it is planned to continue with this support over the next 12 months.
