Rotary Club of Chestfield - 10th Anniversary Year
'Hello. On 1st July, 2013, I took over from Peter Norfolk as President for the coming year. During my term of office we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary on 6th May, 2014, a significant milestone for us.
During the past decade, we have developed a relationship with Chestfield Parish Council and we hope to continue to do so in the coming years, for the benefit of both Chestfield and the wider community.
Rotary is primarily about fellowship and we use that, along with our varied skills, to help support local, national and international projects to improve the lives of the people that they touch. This can be financially, by lending a hand physically or in other supportive ways.
Our Christmas collections of food in Chestfield and various fundraising activities help to provide resources where they are needed most and for your support of these activities, I thank you.
If you would like to find out more about us and what we do, please go to our website - I think you will be surprised at the variety of material.
We meet for breakfast every Thursday morning, 7.00 for 7.30 a.m. (or in the evening for dinner when there is a fifth Thursday in the month) at Chestfield Golf Club. If you would like to come along, just get in touch.' John Bishop President
