Lunchtime meeting with Speaker

Our speaker was David Gardner, Chairman of the Royal Wootton Bassett Academy Trust.
The Academy is an important asset to the community and is now the major employer in the town. Dave will highlight the increasing responsibilities on governors, the challenge of navigating a path through the highly charged national politics surrounding education and the need to forge new relationships with business and other schools as local authorities dismantle traditional education support services.
