Bowls with Fishguard & Goodwick

The annual Bowls match against Fishguard & Goodwick

Held on one of the few sunny afternoons in September, Haverfordwest once again came away winners. Nearly 20 members and their wives came to the Goodwick Bowls Rink, where we wre given some initial instruction by the members. There were 3 rinks in play, one with the Ladies.

The contest was keenly fought but Haverfordwest ran out worthy winners at the end. We then had a delicious tea, provide by the ladies of the Bowling Club where other members joined us. A raffle was held with the majority of the prozes being won by the visitors!.

A most enjoyable day and we hope to have a further match in the winter at the indoor rinks in Milford Haven.
