Rotary DG Martin Williams gets up early!
Rotary District Governor Martin Williams, who took over his new role on 1st July 2014, made his 11th Club visit out of 85 Clubs in District to visit us at Chestfield.
His driver Rob Fenton from Martins own Rotary Club in Club Sittingbourne managed to get him out of bed early to be with us by 7am for a hearty breakfast.
Martin received a very warm welcome from our President Paul Hooke-Overy and lub members and gave us an uplifting short talk on his objectives for the coming year which include support for the Lords Taverners Charity and his objective of buying a Mini Bus and some special sporting wheelchairs for the District with the help of the 85 Clubs in District during his year. He also expressed his thanks to his own Rotary Club for the support they were giving him to ensure he has a great year.
