Monthly Evening Meeting - retired police Inspector Jim Duffy

Tue, Aug 5th 2014 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

Police Inspector Jim Duffy - LEAP Speaker, LEAP stands for Law Enforcement Against Prohibition of all drugs, condone don't compel

The  speaker  for  the  evening  is  retired  police  inspector Jim  Duffy.  Jim  served  in  the  force  for  32yrs.  and  when  he  retired from  the  force  he  then  went  on  to  become  Chairman  of  the  Police  Federation  for  a  further  4yrs.
Jim  worked  on  the  front  line  of  the  drug  war   and   is  aware  of  how  no  matter  how  hard  they  worked  to  keep  drugs  off the  street  they  were  ineffective.

Yes  this  is  very  controversial  but  be  assured  when  you  hear  him  speak  it  will be  very   interesting.

Jim  is  a  Fellow  Rotarian  and  past  president of his Club.
