What a Year for Our Rotary Club

Time for a handover of the Presidency of the Rotary Club of Bishop’s Stortford. Immediate Past President Chris Richardson hands over the reins to incoming President David Green.

Immediate Past President, Cliff Richardson (left) hands over the reins to this year’s President David Green, David now has a hard act to follow but is sure to meet the challenge.

Born in Birmingham and educated in the East Midlands David moved to the Bishop's Stortford area 32 years ago. Married to Hilary with 2 sons and 3 grandchildren, he retired in 2008 having spent over 40 years in the Metal Recycling industry. David joined Rotary in 2009 following an introduction by a friend. Other interests include choral singing and visual arts. He enjoys the fellowship of Rotary and the opportunity for service in the community and looks forward to a challenging year ahead.
