Weekly meeting with guest speaker


President Sandy Bannerman welcomed members to last week's meeting of the Rotary Club last week and introduced President Jim McPherson  and four members of the Selkirk club who were welcome visitors.  They heard an illustrated address by Paul Wheelhouse, MSP, who is a member of the "Yes" party in the Scottish Referendum campaign.  He outlined all his party's views on the referendum which have been well reported in the press and media and hoped to help any "don't knows" to make up their mind.  His talk resulted in many questions which made for a lively session after which Sandy thanked him warmly for taking time in a busy schedule to come and speak to the members.  Pat Sutherland was a visitor to the meeting.
