The Rotarian - Raffle for ShelterBox

This raffle was organised to raise funds for ShelterBox who provide humanitarian help and support to those people that have suffered from Natural Disasters or Conflict that affected them.

The draw was made in front of all the attendees at District 1120 Assembly Meeting on 25th April 2015 by District Governor Martin Williams and picture was won by Jake Davies a member of Canterbury Rotary Club and was collected by Vivien Pritchard, Canterbury Club President, on his behalf. 

Whilst the raffle made sufficient funds to purchase a Shelterbox it was slightly disappointing as we had hoped for a much larger take up, but every little helps.

A shelterbox has been purchased and sent to Nepal from the proceeds of this raffle.
