Club meeting speaker - Sophie Michelena 'Rotary exchange Student''

Sophie was a Rotary Exchange Student from her native France to the Halifax, Nova Scotia area.
Sophie Michelena will be telling us of her experiences as an Exchange Student under the Rotary International programme when she left her native France and lived in the Haslifax, Nova Scotia region for 12 months.
This obviously had a huge impact on her life as she has since given up both France and Canada for the beautiful and vibrant county of Yorkshire and is now a resident of the original Halifax. And still the best!

To celebrate 100 years of service to the town of Halifax we have commissioned viewing platform on Beacon Hill overlooking the town. Situated on the Magna Via, an old packhorse route, the walk to the top is worth it.
