An internal meeting for Club Members as the aims of Committees for next Rotary year are presented and discussed

At the post-Common Riding meeting of the Rotary Club last week President Sandy Bannerman welcomed the members.  After the meal the club broke up into its different committees and discussed future plans and activities to be presented at the Club Assembly in two week's time.  The recent coffee morning realised £1,000 and this is being disbursed as £750 to the Rotary Nepal Earthquake Appeal and £250 to Mr. Sherpa, Selkirk, a Nepalese who lives and works there.  He is raising funds to assist him in helping to rebuild his native village after the disaster.  His relatives live in a village high in the mountains a 'plane flight and 3-day trek on foot from Kathmandhu.
