On Monday 28th September 2015 our speaker was Sharon Westby representing The Medaille Trust. Sharon is also a member of The Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton and she highlighted to us the issue of human trafficking and modern day slavery. This is not only a serious problem but a growing one. The Medaille Trust was set up in 2006 to provide support to victims through safe houses, rehabilitation and awareness of these modern forms of slavery. Further information can be found on their websitewww.medaille.co.uk
