Review of projects  2015-2016

What a year President Bob has had, over £5,000 in cheques handed over to the JJ Robinson Fund (supporting the educational needs of young people from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds in the Caribbean island of Grenada) … and then there’s the cheques the Club has sent to Naomi House Hospice which was as a result of our fantastic ROTARAIL which is now an annual event.

We’ve supported ‘Access All Areas’ in Fareham, Christmas collections and the amazing KidsOut where we took children from two schools in Fareham – St Columba and St Francis to have a happy day out with us. Then there’s our Wheelhouse facility at Hill Head, support for the local Basics Bank and the annual Rotary Shoebox appeal which went off to children in the Philippines. There’s so much more too including our contribution of £6,000 to the End Polio Now campaign. President Bob even held a Caribbean lunch in Soberton and every penny benefited those young people in Grenada.

As Bob Mussellwhite said “I’ve had a fantastic year with my fellow Rotarians. I’ve greatly enjoyed all the events and fundraising our Club has done where we have worked together to achieve some amazing results.”
