Last night Thursday October 15th we hosted our annual choir festival at Bailgate Methodist Church in aid of St Barnabas Hospice and Parkinsons UL (Lincoln & District)

The theme of the evening was Songs of Freedom. The evening began with a performance of a performance piece titled "Freedom" written and performed by Mackenzie Booth who was one of the entrants in the SlamJam competition also run by the club.

Foss Ladies Choir, musical director Bea van de Kaaij, then performed songs including Raggle Taggle Gipsies and Adiemus

They were followed by the Ermine Voices, musical director Jenny Trattles who performed songs including Oh Lord, give us light now and Amani Utepi

After the interval Cabra Singers, musical director Bea van de Kaaij, continued the theme with songs including Dry Bones (complete with skeleton), California Dreaming and Train to Skeggie

The evening concluded with all choirs and assembled company singing The Battle Hymn of the Republic and Land of Hope and Glory
