North of England Flood Appeal

An appeal to support those in the three counties displaced and affected by the floods

     The Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria Flood Disaster

Towns and Villages in Northern England have been hit yet again by devastating floods following unprecedented rainfall in the area. Many people have seen their homes flooded for the third time in recent years, with huge personal loss and stress.

The devastating floods in the North of England are the subject of an appeal by the Rotary Clubs of District 1040 and 1190.These two districts cover Lancashire, Cumbria and West and North Yorkshire.  Malton and Norton Rotary Club has made a donation of £4,000.00 to this fund on behalf of the residents of the three towns.  The Rotary Treasurers of Districts 1040 (North Yorkshire) and 1190 (Cumbria) will hold and distribute all contributions
