Muhammad Ayaz Shafqat was born in Pakistani Controlled Kashmir also known as Azad Kashmir. Regardless of realizing the limited opportunities he continues his studies as well as his social life from his childhood till today. In his Graduation he studied History as a main subject which broadens his understanding to past and present. His 1st masters in English literature and Language gives him gives him an opportunities to understand the culture of people who use English as its means of communication. His post graduate certificate in peace studies which he completed in 2009 under Rotary Peace fellowship Program from Thailand gives him more responsibilities to become a part of international world and work for a peaceful world. Further he did another master degree in media and culture studies where he did research in media practice and shaping the culture based on existing theories. He plans to do a doctoral research in Social Enterprise area.
Professionally he started his career as a volunteer, social worker and then into different projects of various charity organizations like USAID and DIFD. He also did internship in media organizations and use to write for local press. He also taught in university as an English Lecturer. While living in UK he worked for University of Sunderland as a Project Support Assistant and then run different charity projects with various charities. At the moment He has established an educational institute based in Glasgow and named as Scottish Opportunities Centre. Through this institute he plans to work for people as part of community Interest Company. Using this platform his areas of service are Education, Training and Enterprise with very high goals.
