| Soham is a market town of around 10,000 inhabitants on the southern edge of the Cambridgeshire fens, around 100 km north of London and 20 km north-east of the university town of Cambridge. Our closest neighbours are the cathedral city of Ely about 8 km to the north and Newmarket, the home of English horse racing, some 10 km to the south. Like many English towns, we enjoy a long history and a unique character that reflects our region. |
