July Becket Walk

Ron Cross is organising this months walk and tells us:

Hi all

For those who are interested, the walk this week will start out from the Eastcote Arms in Eastcote, NN12 8NG

Please note that the pub is closed lunchtimes, so we will not be able to use their facilities.

I have tried to contact the landlord, but without success, so parking is recommended to be on the road, although the barmaid did think it would probably be OK to use the pub car park.

Meet up at 10.45 for 11.00 start

The walk will be 2 to 3 miles long unless we get lost.

You are recommended to wear long trousers as there are quite a few nettles about!

After the walk we will go to the George at Tiffield (NN12 8AD) for a bite to eat and some decent real ale!

I will ask for a head count at breakfast, but you can just turn up if you so desire.
