Tom Jordan Bursary Award 2018
The Rotary Club of Glossop is looking for an exceptional, courageous and inspirational young person in 2017.
The 2018 ‘Tom Jordan Bursary’ Award.
''The Rotary Club of Glossop will be looking for an exceptional, courageous and inspirational young person to receive the 2018 Tom Jordan Bursary Award
Tom was an honorary member of Glossop Rotary Club and lost his life tragically young to cancer. As a result of his own experiences and determination to overcome his disabilities, Tom was committed to encouraging other young people to make the very best of their lives and talents.
The Bursary is £500 and must be used for something the applicant really wants to do and will make a big difference to their life.
To be eligible, applicants will need to live in High Peak, Stockport or Tameside and be under the age of 21 at the time of application. They would need to tell us all about themselves and their experiences. If it would feel better, they may ask someone that they trust to submit the application for them - it can be easier than writing about themselves sometimes.
Application forms will be available from January 2018 - however, if you already know of a young person you might consider as a suitable recipient and want to tell us about, please let us know now by emailing :
