Something to Smile About!

Barney Plews, Gemma McNeil and Merrie Barnet of Malton School all had broad smiles after taking part in the Rotary Senior Youth Speaks Competition at the Brooksbank School, Elland on Sunday 9th April. Competing against six other school finalists from the region, they scored highly with their entrty evaluating the use (and abuse) of social media and internet working.

This Rotary competition encourages public speaking and presentation skills in young people and showcases superb quality speakers

Malton and Norton Rotary club wish to thank Barney, Gemma and Merrie together with the staff and Malton School for their involvement in this project. Well done!
