In recent years the club has opened out to embrace asylum seekers arriving in Cardiff, many of whom are within this age group and can find friendship at a time when they are feeling most lonely and vulnerable – actually the reason why Rotary was started by its founder over 100 years ago.
They meet most Wednesdays at 6.30 p.m. at the Refectory Café in Windsor Place and for £2 you will get a hot beverage and usually some cake.
