Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland mounted a "Mass beach and river clean" on 8th June 2019. Members of the Rotary Club of Edinburgh, together with some young helpers, cleaned an area of beach east of the Boardwalk Cafe at Silverknowes on the Forth Estuary. Many bags of rubbish, two golf balls, a metal post-securer, parts of cars, etc were removed from any danger of contaminating the marine environment! The rain stayed off - just - despite an adverse forecast. The sun shines on the righteous!
