Fellowship Meeting 17th May

Rotary club of Stirling meeting of 17th May.

President Sandy Farquharson welcomed members to a fellowship meeting.
The club barbeque will be at 6pm at Tom Thomson's house on 1st of June, and the visit to Inchmurrin on the 2nd June. Next Friday we will have our AM/AM at Stirling golf club, with a good entry of 18 teams, so there will be no meeting at the Golden Lion. The next normal meeting will be
on 31st May.   A small working group is reviewing the club committee structure with a view to combining some of the committees.  Of two recent changes, members present opted to return to a two-course lunch, and this will be put to all members. The decision to abandon a fixed top table was judged to be a success and will continue. After consulting treasurer Edmond Mansion, it was decided to retain the annual subscription fee at its present level.  As next Friday the club is involved in running the AM/AM there will be no meeting of the club at the Golden Lion until 31st May., when the speaker's host will be Jane Wilson, and visitor's host Ian Richardson.
