Santa Visited Rayleigh Again

Swallows Aquatics in Rayleigh Invited Santa to use their Grotto again

After last year’s success Santa Claus was invited back by Swallow Aquatics in Rayleigh to use their Christmas Grotto again.  All the children that came to see him saw him for nothing but their parents/grandparents/brothers/sisters made a voluntary donation to Rotary Foundation.  If parental approval was given the children were allowed a small present or a sweet.

The Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill managed to get the real Santa Claus to turn up.  It was obvious he was THE real Santa Claus as he had a real beard.  Many of the children testified to this by giving the beard a tug to make sure that it was real.

Santa Claus had to check if the children had been good and that their bedrooms were clean and tidy to ensure that there was room for a fresh delivery of toys.

Thanks to all those visitors who made donations, which combined with a most generous gift from the Swallows Aquatics team helped raise £1233.92 for Rotary Foundation.
