Each team will comprise four players with a full maximum handicap allowance of 28 for gents and 36 for ladies. Two team members will play on the Gleneagles King’s Course and two on the Gleneagles Queen’s Course. Stableford scoring will be used, using the full handicap allowances outlines above. The best three scores from each team will count for the team event and the Wylkedin Quaich. There will be prizes for the best three team scores and for the best two individual scores on each of the courses. There will also be a nearest the pin prize on each course.
The cost per team will be held at last year’s rate of £396 and will include the green fees on both courses, tea or coffee and a hot filled roll on arrival and a hot meal after play. It also includes full use of the excellent facilities at Gleneagles, including complimentary range balls and use of the driving range, short game area and putting green at the on-site PGA National Golf Academy. Our event offers free cleaning and storage of your golf clubs and access to the excellent clubhouse facilities and locker room.
Based on recent entry numbers the courses have been booked from 10am to 12.00pm. A maximum number of 26 teams can therefore be accommodated and we are hoping to get as close to that number as we can, especially given the improved geographical access of this year’s new venue. Your support will therefore be much appreciated.
