Both presenters can use the British Sign Language with which they are able to communicate with the deaf colleagues they support.
Happy Hands supports families who are D/deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafened or experience communication difficulties through disability. Happy Hands provides services in St Helens, Halton and the surrounding areas of the North West and are supported by the Deafness Resource Centre with funding from BBC Children In Need. We are a local National Deaf Children’s Society affiliated group.
The evening was spent at Reeve Court Village in Rainhill, with an excellent meal in a very nice environment.
