Rotary Business Partners

THE Rotary Business Partners' Scheme was successfully launched by Gosport Rotary Club to develop closer contacts with and support from local businesses.

It enables members of the local business community to help Gosport Rotary Club meet the many needs that exist locally and to give their business publicity and meet their corporate social responsibility.

Why not become a Rotary Business Partner?

Most people are aware of the worldwide organisation of Rotary and its remarkable success in service to the community and fund-raising for good causes, but few realise what Gosport Rotary Club does for the local and international community.

Ideally we would invite business persons to consider applying for membership of Rotary, however we are well aware that the pressures of business and family priorities may make that difficult. As an alternative Gosport Rotary Club would invite your business to become a Business Partner of our Rotary Club.

The Rotary Business Partners Scheme has been instigated, in conjunction with our website, to develop closer contacts with and support from local businesses. It enables members of the local business community to help Gosport Rotary Club meet the many needs that exist locally and to give member businesses publicity.

How can you help?
Members of our Rotary Partners scheme assist us by helping to cover the costs of our fund-raising events and publicity allowing us to maximise funds raised. It is important to know that all funds raised for charity by Rotary Clubs go directly to good causes.

Business Partners employees wishing to help with running our events will always find a warm welcome from local Rotarians. If you are interested in this aspect, then do let us know and also advise what particular skills you may have available that we might find useful.

Working together can bring great benefits to both partners; whilst working with Rotarians, experienced in all aspects of business, can help to develop and enhance management skills of younger staff.

So what are the benefits to a business?

The scheme formally helps Business Partners and their staff to meet their personal and corporate social responsibility aims and objectives. For a nominal annual contribution of £85, Gosport Rotary Club welcomes you and your business as a Rotary Business Partner and will provide:

• A framed certificate showing the business support for the community

For Gosport Rotary Club, we would promote your business in:

• Listing, logo and website link on our club website
• A decal for your premises publicising your participation in the scheme
• Invitations to social evenings and 'Business Partners' nights
• Invitation to networking day at our Annual Conference
• The opportunity to be a guest speaker at one of our club meetings
• The opportunity to promote a local cause which requires charity support
