Young Chef 2023

Local Heat of this years competition


As always this was a keenly contested competition and the standards were high. We congratulate the winner Lily Nichol from Smithdon High and runner up Joshua harvey from Springwood High

The pupils have tocreate a menu and cook a two course meal in two hours and are judged on taste, best use of ingredients and presentation.

The winner and runner up go onto the District Final and if successful on to the National Final in London

Judges in this event were Rotarian John Thorpe and a retired professional chef Tony Bartlett
