Club President inducts our newest member, Yevheniia Shepherd into membership of the Club. Yuvheniia is a retired language teacher and lives in Abergavenny. She is an active member of the Abergavenny Women's Institute and is closely connected with the Abergavenny Ukraine support group which meets regularly in the Community Centre. Yevheniia says she is delighted to become the Rotary Club's newest member. She has been engaged with Rotary over the last couple of years with its activities in support of the Ukrainian refugess who live in Abergavenny, the people of Kharkiv via the Help for Kharkiv Group, and has also helped with the visit from members of Jaroslaw Rotary Club to Abergavenny in August 2022 and the making of the film of the Club's visit to the Polish Club in June 2022, shortly after the invasion.
