Gloucester City Safe, GCS, is a not-for-profit Business Crime Reduction Partnership with the Business Community. GCS has highlighted the need for more public accessible defibrillators. Steve is providing huge support as we raise funds for more defibs


Gloucester City Safe

Gloucester City Safe co-ordinates and manages the Safer City priority with the Business Improvement District (BID), a business-led, non-profit organisation to bring a safe, attractive and supported city, in partnership with the Police and local authorities. It operates with a unique yellow/red card system

Gloucester City Safe's sole intention is to facilitat the reduction of crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour.

Gloucester City Safe are representative of both Day and Night Time Economies, working together to reduce shoplifting, theft, anti-social behaviour, alcohol related disorder, street drinking and begging which affect all businesses throughout Gloucester.

Gloucester Business Improvement District

Gloucester Business Improvement District (BID) operates within a defined geographical area, in which non-domestic ratepayers have voted to invest collectively in local improvements that are in addition to those that are already delivered by local statutory bodies.

Gloucester Business Improvement District has been in operation since 1 July 2017

Rotary@Kingsholm has discovered that Gloucester City as only 3 accessible defibrillators. This is the lowest number in the country. A new defibrillator costs about £2200. Our aim during the next 12 months is to raise enough money to double that number.

Longfield Hospice provides end of life support at home to reduce the demand on NHS beds. Recognising how It is vital that the hospice continues its work to help vulnerable people in need, we were happy to make a donation to their funds.
