ANNUAL ART COMPETITION

This year's competition featured year 1 pupils from 14 of our local schools.

The Art Competition is devised to encourage and support pupils at infant level. This project assists their development and aids their integration into school life. It allows them to show their abilities using colours in art. The designs are thought provoking to encourage further integration into being good citizens.

This year fourteen primary schools from our service area participated in the competition for Year 1 infants. Three of the winning entrants went on to win the District final, so congratulations to the children of Burtonwood Primary, St Lukes C of E Lowton and Lyme Community Primary  who won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.

And of course congratulations to all our children, their teachers and their schools for making this competition such a success.
