A Reet Good Do!

Almost 50 folk, including guests from the Rotary Clubs of Bingley, Bradford and Shipley enjoyed a night out on 1st August. We also had two delightful Ukrainian guests.

President Trish, in her best Yorkshire dialect,  treated us to a poem to start of the evening. We were then served good old Yorkshire fare, toad in the hole and apple crumble and custard, by the attentive West Bradford Golf Club staff.

After two games of stand up bingo, the wonderful Julie Dee was our entertainer and most of us were soon singing along to the songs we used to dance to, further back in the day than most of us care to remember.

It wasn't just the old folk enjoying themselves though. It was great to see the young ones entering into the spirit, and what energy they had!

To top it off, we raised almost £300 for our various Rotary projects!
