Tree Planting

Tree Planting to help the environment

Planting trees in Galley Hill November 2019

In 2022 we worked together with The Box Moor Trust to plant and nurture three Quercus Bimundorum Crimson Spire (Crimschmidt) trees on Heath Park in Hemel Hempstead.

The three trees will form part of the Queen's Green Canopy, a unique tree-planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee.  They have been planted in a prominent location on the Box Moor Trust estate (opposite St John's Church) so they can be enjoyed by everyone.

Looking forward to watching the trees grow and flourish over the coming years, albeit it may take 30 years for them to reach their full potential, and to see them enjoyed by the whole community for generations to come.
