The Great South Charity Run - Sunday 16th October
With a combined age of 147, just what are these two old boys up to!
Ken Griffiths and Richard Reinkie, alias Community Ken and Tricky Dickie / Deputy Dick are dusting down their running shoes, to take part in the Great South Run, which is taking place on Sunday October 16th . They were saying “Running ten miles around the streets of Portsmouth, seems like so much fun when you are in your 70’s!” That may as well be, but the training is hard, tiring and no fun at all. However, the thought of raising much needed money for two local Haslemere charities, The Hunter Centre and Talk to Me, lessons the pain and with your help they will raise their £2,000 target.
