Many thanks to the everyone who donated to our collection at Morrisons. A very useful £200.00 was raised in support of this cause.

World Polio Day is commemorated on every year. Polio is a highly contagious disease caused by the polio virus. Although very rare, the virus can attack the parts of the brain that help you breathe, which can lead to death. Polio has no cure, but it can be prevented with vaccination.

The Rotary Action....
2023 Bodmin Rotary will be at Morrisons in Bodmin to collect donations to help with the eradication of polio across the world. Rotary started its End Polio Now campaign in 1985 . At that time poilio was endemic in 125 countries. Now it is endemic still in 2 countries - Pakistan and Afghanistan. Rotary is still working with partners like the Gates Foundation to make sure that children all over the world receive the vaccines that are the only way that we can make polio a thing of the past across the world. Please come and see us on the 24th and help us to End Polio Now. CR
