BUSINESS MEETING

At this evenings business meeting, 5 financial proposals were made and unanimously agreed by the 22 rotarians present.

Stuart Ainscough, Ray Bointon, Les Clancy, Ray Edwardson, Geoff Fisher, John Graves, Les Greenall, Derek Hirst, Barbara Keenan-Morris, John Kilshaw, John Murray, John Morse, Steve Owen, Ian Parr, Alan Pomfret, Craig Roberts, Phil Round, Geoff Shaw, John Shaw, Ken Smith, Richard York.

Proposals:

1. A donation to Newton In Bloom proposed by Ian Parr.
2. A donation to Vulcan Junior Football proposed by Ian Parr
3. A donation to the High Street Hive Easter Egg Hunt proposed by Ian Parr
4. A donation to the Ukraine Neonatal Incubator Appeal proposed by Alan Pomfret
5. A donation to Homestart St Helens proposed by Leslie Clancy. 

Other Business: Rotarian Alan Pomfret was presented with a Water Aid, Walk for Water Tee-shirt in recognition of completing 155km (5km per day) during the month of March.In addition to the club making a donation Alan also raised additional money through his Just Giving Page. The area of focus for March is WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) so this was particularly timely and relevant.

The Executive Committee has presented its plans for the coming year. The role of the executive is to oversee the service functions of the club.
