Annual Charity Quiz

Fri, Nov 10th 2023 at 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Annual General Knowledge Quiz to raise funds for local charities, at Catholic Church Hall, Buccleuch Street, Hawick.

A successful Charity Quiz was held on 10th November, with 13 teams taking part. Winners were The Chalkers, consisting of ex-teachers Mesdames Shaw, Walker, Graham and Paterson.

It was great to have the support of individuals not normally associated with Hawick Rotary and the full support of Hawick's Rotarians, all of whom had roles to play on the night.

We very much appreciated the support of Hawick High School who helped two teams of senior students come along to take part, accompanied by Ms True Anderson.

Funds raised will be calculated and information given on which local charities will benefit.
