Rotary Fishing Competition on Lake on Menteith
2024 Rotary in Scotland Harry Rankin Fishing Competition.
Did you know that this competition has been going since 1951? Never heard of it, well if you fly fish you do not know what you have been missing ! Fellowship, Fun and the chance to fish on the Lake of Menteith
Calling all current and retired Scottish Rotarians and Non-Rotarian friends interested in Fly Fishing on The Lake of Menteith.
The first round of the competition is on Monday Jun 3rd 2024 with the second on Monday 2nd September 2024 both at 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. You can do both, or one or the other. Prizes are based on results from both rounds
This friendly competition is open to ALL Rotarians in Scotland District 1010 and 1320 and non-Rotarian guests, a day of good fishing and fun.
We need to confirm as soon as possible the number of boats we require.
We normally have 2 persons per boat but can increase this to 3 per boat if requested.
You will be paired up with another member on the day.
Fishing starts at 09.30am until 17.00pm
We meet for a meal afterwards at the Lion & Unicorn, Thornhill, Stirlingshire.
The cost is £50.00 per round with a meal included at the end of each round. £100.00 for both outings/rounds including the meals.
