Planting Crocuses with Newlyn primary school

to highlight the work we are doing to eradicate polio and protect children worldwide.

The Newlyn School Lanust Class thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a planting project to enrich the biodiversity of Newlyn Green. The session involved digging and planting shrubs, perennials and bulbs, as well as using wheelbarrows and buckets to mulch.

Daffodil bulbs were generously donated by Ron and Adrian Scamp, world renowned RHS Gold medal winning daffodil breeders based near Falmouth and the Rotary Club gave an additional 4,000 crocus bulbs to highlight the work we are doing to eradicate polio and protect children worldwide.
