SUPPORTING VULCAN FOOTBALL CLUB

At our lunch on Tuesday 16 April we presented a donation to Vulcan FC for the work they are doing in the community.


Vulcan FC is based at the Vulcan Sports Club, Raleigh Close and is growing rapidly catering for the local community. Their chair, David Tomlinson, presented some impressive statistics from his presention, Vulcan in Numbers.

Briefly:
* The club has 3 open-age football teams, playing at 3 venues.
*The club has 8 female only junior football teams with 111 registered players.
*The club has 17 mixed junior football teams with 208 registered mixed players.
*The club has 60+ academy players.
*The club has recently started 2 walking football teams.
The club is going from strength to strength and at the end of the meeting on 16 April President Elect Ray Edwardson presented David with a donation towards the club's activities.
