26/01/10 District Rotary Young Chef Competition; the 2010 winner was the South West group entrant Lucy Vaughan. Lucy attends North Halifax Grammar School and was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Halifax.

The runner up was the North group entrant Taryn Agar. Taryn attends Harrogate High School and was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Harrogate Brigantes.

Purple Pinky Day 23 Feb 2010- Is your Club geared up for Purple Pinkie Day- 23 Feb 2010? An article by Chris Philip.

A purple pinkie is a left hand little finger nail that has been marked with the purple marker pen to show that you have received the polio drops on this round of immunisations.
