Frugal lunch at Paul Barrett's home - and a surprise award....

Wed, Jun 18th 2014 at 12:00 am - 12:30 pm

We met at 11am by Titterstone Clee for a walk then headed back at Paul's for 12.30pm lunch.

This was a lovely afternoon - we met at Titterstone Clee at 11am for a walk then finished up at Paul Barrett's home in Doddington for lunch. We were treated to a tasy chilli con carne with fresh bread and rice - Paul did well with the catering given  he was on the walk with us until 12.30! We were pleased to have Sylvie join us and we all were excited when President Clive awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship to Paul for his services to Rotary. This is a special award to show our appreciation for Paul's efforts in encouraging new members, arranging quizzes, skittles and collections, as well as his special contributions to Rotary and the Club when he was President and Secretary. This award is very well deserved so many congratulations Rotarian Paul Barrett PHF!
